Dress your bike to impress and join us for a bike rally. You can decorate your bike at home or come together at Latham Island Park on Saturday morning where we will have all kinds of stuff for you and your children to decorate your bikes. Decorating starts at 9:30 a.m. We will have some judges out at 10:30 so if you want to participate in the contest for prizes, you can sign up at the park during decorating. (See the prize categories below). At 10:45 we will head out for our bike parade together and we will be awesome! Bring bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards and strollers! We will start the parade at Latham Island Park. We will bike around Otto and Morrison Drive, across the causeway and into Old Town, finishing at Old TownGlassworks/Old Town Bikeworks. We have a shortcut planned for those wee ones that may need a bit more time and less distance to get to our end location! We will have treats for all the kids and prizes which will be awarded at 11:30 a.m. This event is open to kids and adults alike! Costumes are optional...but they sure make the parade more colourful and fun...so we encourage you to have fun and be creative!
