The Ramble and Ride is a free eco-friendly festival held annually in the historic area of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories on the August long weekend. The 2023 festival marks the 17th edition of Old Town's beloved festival, which is a local favourite!

Every summer Old Town comes alive with multiple stages featuring local musicians, artist demonstrations, local vendors, public art projects, art workshops, Trash-formation art show, buskers, old time YK movie house, spoken word and poetry, walking tours, a children's area complete with bouncy castle, story telling, face painting, music and more.

This year, join us August 4-6 and Ramble or Ride down the hill to Old Town where there's always fun for the whole family!

Old Town is located on Chief Drygeese territory, traditional home of the Yellowknives Dene

Too hot up town? Come on down to Old Town and experience the cool breeze off the big lake!
