As part of the Old Town Ramble and Ride Festival, the Latham Island Neighbourhood Association (LINA) along with Old Town Bike Works (OTBW) and Ecology North Communities in Motion Group are organizing the annual Bike Parade which will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3rd. The event is open to everyone - kids and adults alike! Bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards and strollers are all welcome! Costumes are optional…but they sure make for a fun and colourful parade! Be as creative as you wish!

9:30 a.m.

Decorating starts! Dress up your bike and join us for a fun bike parade! Decorate your bike at home or come to Latham Island Park on Saturday morning where we will have all kinds of fun decorations for you and your children to dress up your bikes!

10:30 a.m.

We head out for our awesome Bike Parade together! The Parade starts at Latham Island Park. We will bike around Otto and Morrison Drive, across the Causeway and into Old Town, finishing at OTBW. We have a shortcut planned for those wee ones who may need a bit more time and less distance to arrive at our end location: OTBW! Adult Parade Guides will accompany us for safety en-route.

11:30 a.m.

We will celebrate our Bike Parade completion with cool treats at OTBW for an awesome finish! We made it!!!
